Description
One forward, has got to go- Killorn is only guy with trade flexibility and doubt anyone else would waive to leave a legit contender- beauty weather and tax free state. Traded him for Nutivaara (solid d), but they would need to retain $1M. Killorn would be a nice add to their top 6, and I would even give up a 2nd to get the deal done with retaining. Some may say CBJ should add more, but whatever gets the deal done.

Cernak is solid, but no cap space so I swapped him for Sami Niku. He's been a great AHL D but hasn't fully transitioned to NHL yet. Think he's there as a bottom pair guy who'll come cheap. Winnipeg needs some established NHL D in their lineup for next year. Del Zotto or any other cheap vet d could slot in if he's not ready, Cal Foote is also on the way up. Wasn't sure with the picks but again, whatever gets it done for both sides.

Paquette is great 4th liner but just no cap for him.

Think the only way to get Cirelli and Sergachev is on a 2 or 3 year bridge. Think I got them at fair-ish value, but they could both easily be offer sheeted for more if they wanna make more money elsewhere.

I also do recognize there's zero RHD on the roster.

Well Niku prefers to play on his off side so there's that.. Lol.. I'd love that trade for the Jets but doubt Tampa is trading Cernak, could probably get better for Cernak elsewhere if they did.

Columbus just straight declines... we need centers not wings.

Killorn's good enough that I'd consider it regardless... but yeah, centers are the higher priority by far.

He is the only forward with a substantial cap hit with a modified 16 team NTC, I don't see any way they keep him unless Palat, Johnson and Gourde waive which is doubtful

Good catch, didn't think about that, just thought he would be a nice boost to the forward group
