Description

This is a swap to give the canucks cap relief as they have a surplus of wingers but they need some cap to improve the defense and this deal also helps recoup a high pick while Montreal takes on about $1.3 million in additional cap but they get a young bonafide 2nd line 20 goal scoring winger as compensation by only giving up a third and an unsigned prospect. Fair?

Fairly good job but this is not what Montreal need right now. Montreal are in rebuilt mode and would only take erikson contract if they get a young players back. Like gaudette! Pearson is having a great season but have been a mid forward for most of is career and Montreal have already plenty of those. If montreal is using their cap space to take cap dump they will at least get young pieces for it.

RHP is also one of the oldest players in qmjhl rn as he had been passed on multiple times in the draft as a 21 yo he should be tearing it up
