I don't care about the bloody trade value, add your own god damn players, the point is losing the 10 million and plug in your own RHD with the extra cash, the Leafs have depth with Mikey, Robertson and Engvall to sustain the loss of those three 3+ million guys with players at half the cost.

You say as he played most of the season on the 3rd line, producing under Keefe and the Bottom 6 is upgraded by addition from subtracting Barrie and Ceci.

Bear or Larsson, doesn't matter, Puljuvarvi has as much potential as that undrafted and unsigned Russian everybody keeps wanting the Leafs to sign.

Engvall and spezza are 4th liners at this point. Roberson hasn't played an nhl game yet and it isnt good for him to be thrown to the wolves. If 1 injury were to occur to someone in the top 6 (long or short term) they would be absolutely ****ed. There are far better ways to do this that dont involve demolishing their depth

One word, Pens.

They survived with their rotating stars being injured.

Could the Oilers take on that much cap space, it's a good trade for Edmonton.

How come you didn't sign Pulujarvi.. Lol

No, they couldn't. Unless there's a CBO or 2.

They survived because they had very good depth.

that bottom 6 is pure trash.

Look lets be honest if you have even decent 3 lines and one really great 1st line you can make the playoffs. AKA boston.

But you don't have one really great 1st line capable of doing what they did and the rest of the bottom 6 is not even decent.

What about the previous Cup Champions, Stl. hahaha.....the Caps, where's the depth ? Even the Pens when they won Cups had AHL quality depth.
