Yes he would. Strome does good while playing with Kane. Laine has a shot like Kanes. Think he would be a good 2c

Yeah I still think Svechnikov has what it takes to be a solid top 9 player. Just needs to get some confidence, and our farm system is overall pretty good at that

I wouldn’t put Chisholm in the trade, but I’d be down for Roslovic, a 2nd, and maybe a small add for Strome.

I agree but Strome is a solid 2C and I needed to close the gap in value so I gave them a solid prospect but not in our top 3. Do you think Gawanke instead of Chisholm will still be enough?

Yeah Detroit's not moving their #32 pick that's like a late 1st it will be once Seattle joins the ranks next year.

I mean the jets pick is around 45 or something as it stands. Niku has shown way more than Svechnikov so I had to close the gap in the value. I understand that you would not want to move that pick though because this is a very good draft

I dunno I like both of them. I think Kovacevic should be enough, he had solid rookie AHL season.

I like him as well. Honestly as long as Samberg and Heinola do not get traded I wouldn't be too upset

Lots of the trades on here have been for Domi/Cirelli and while both would be great, Strome would be much cheaper to acquire.
The one problem I see is CHI not wanting to break up Strome/DeBrincat, because they're buddies. But if you're CHI, that's pretty good value.

I agree I like Jack but if this would go through I'd do it right away. For Chicago their getting a cheaper replacement and one of our top 5 prospects along with a potential first, so I think this is fair for both teams

I think so too. This helps a rebuild for CHI. Do you think they accept if you swapped Chisholm for Niku? I'm on the "trade Niku" train simply for the fact that PoMo doesn't seem to trust him and a change of scenery may be really helpful for him.

Yeah you could put Niku in here I think he has even more raw value still than Chisholm so they would accept still in my opinion
