    Im not a flames fan, but shouldn't Monahan's value be higher? Sure you get Dumba, but I would argue that replacing Hanifan with DUmba doesn't move the needle all that much. Plus Hartman is a bottom 6 guy...a really good bottom 6 guy, but this deal is a big L for the flames IMO

    That’s a horrible deal for Calgary. I’d be asking for at least Greenway and the 2020 1st on top of Dumba

    I hate the Flames as an Oilers fan, but I think Flames would make a HUGE mistake getting rid of Monahan.

    Wild fan here.
    I couldn’t sleep at night if i took advantage of the Flames like this! @csick is right - Dumba, Greenway, and a 2020 1st frim MN makes a lot more sense!

    Yeah, I'm not sure that makes CGY a better team. I like the Dumba addition but if your solution is to replace him with Bennett, it's a dead trade.
