Chicago would accept that trade. Pretty good deal

Personally I would prefer a Demelo resigning around 4 mill then a Barrie.
Jumbo Joe isn't leaving SoCal IMO.
I do like both trades. Not sure how good Strome is and im not sure if I like the jets dealing Roslovic, but that deal is probably close value wise

I’m not sure I like the look of the defense, we’re adding Ghost, Barrie, and Heinola to a d-core that’s already small and weak defensively. I would much rather re-sign DeMelo and play Samberg over Heinola. Samberg is NHL ready and can PK, whereas Heinola would benefit more by playing PP1 and 1D for the Moose than 16 minutes a game on the 3rd pairing for the Jets.

Morrissey and Pionk would be pulling their hair out with those two as D partners and that 3rd pair might be a bit sketchy too but maybe not idk, doubt Philly trades Gostisbehere for that anyway.

Not a fan of dealing Roslovic and not sure if Strome would do well with the Jets, doubt that'd be a good move for the Jets.

That bottom 6 still sucks.

Morrissey played with Trouba for 2 years and pionk literally played with kulikov. I’m sure they’re used to it

No need for Ghost, we just signed Samberg so the left is looking pretty good with JoMo, Samberg, Heinola, Stanley (barring the above trade), Dahlstom and probably a resign of either BooLoo or Kuli. If we could swap Niku for one of Brook or Fleury as a base (peg would have to have an add) I would def go for that. And if DeMelo resigns our defence goes from pretty terrible at the start of last year to looking pretty solid for this year. Sign me up for that Strome trade. It helps Chicago with their CAP as well as two young assets plus a pick to help restock the cupboards.

Although I like them I honestly don’t care if we never see kuli or beau in a Jets Uniform again, Dahlstrom is not an NHL defencemen. Period. Although they could I don’t see Heinola/Samberg being top 4 ready. The plan with this is Seattle takes Ghost and then Samberg or Heinola steps into the top 4.
