I wouldnt trade mack for Matthew's straight up.. I wouldnt do this trade.. MacKinnon is worth 2 austin matthews at half the salary

This is Exactly what I expected when I saw a guy named Auston Matthews making this trade. 0/10 No logic, no thought. Just stuff for stuff to look like you tried because you want to move two people that would never be moved for any reason.

Yeah exactly. Since entering the NHL:

MacKinnon is 1st in goals per game
MacKinnon is 1st in goals per minute
MacKinnon is 1st in even strength goals
MacKinnon is 2nd in total goals to Ovechkin

Oh wait, my bad, I meant Matthews

Last time I checked Matthew's hasn't made it to 99 or 100pts yet, or had any hart nominations

Matthews career points per games = 1.01
MacKinnon's = 0.94

And he's 3 years younger than MacKinnon.
Mack was around 0.6 points per game at this point in his career.

I won't even mention goals.
