You rather hold on to both until later on into next season or next summer?

I guess that is fair. We will see how the rest of this season plays out if it ever does.. and go from there.

yup. they should've kept Jokihari. still dont know what Bowman was doing there. Boqvist/Jokihari/Mitchell would've been a very nice RHD for years

Definitely because Stan Bowman already looks bad for the Nylander for Jokiharju trade and Crawford is up this year. If they can turn Nylander and a 3rd into Murray Bowman would look like a genius instead of a buffoon.

I wouldn't trade Jarry. He was better for the majority of this year that Murr has been since the cup runs...

I'd love Murray for Tierney and a 3rd. This trade would also make Nilsson available if y'all would need another goalie.

I do think Chicago lost that trade.. but I think Nylander alongside Sid and Zucker would be good. Maybe add a bit of value going Pittsburgh's way, but a good RW with decent potential would be nice.

Management still has faith in Murray and believes he's our #1. id sign him long term to a cheaper deal and roll the dice with him. goaltending is a mental thing. hes shown he has the talent. hes got some mental roadblock he needs to overcome

At least playing out the rest of this season would give the Pens a good idea if they do decide to make a decision this summer. Hard to commit to one right now, I get that.

The players I would want from Ottawa were Tierney, White and Batherson, but thought that Tierney is most likely the one to go. I think something along these lines, with maybe a little value added Pittsburgh's way could really work. Ottawa is building a scary team at the moment and a real starter would help. Penguins have DeSmith, so not much need for Nilsson, but I am sure a team would take him.

I do think Chicago lost that trade.. but I think Nylander alongside Sid and Zucker would be good. Maybe add a bit of value going Pittsburgh's way, but a good RW with decent potential would be nice.

I think you can do better than Nylander though. Murray has a lot of value still other teams would offer a better deal

Management still has faith in Murray and believes he's our #1. id sign him long term to a cheaper deal and roll the dice with him. goaltending is a mental thing. hes shown he has the talent. hes got some mental roadblock he needs to overcome

They definitely still have faith, they were playing him for the majority of the games were the season got postponed. I did see articles that suggested that Murray wanted at least $6M on an extension, which seems a little pricey.

I did also mention Strome from their team. I think he would be a great addition and the Pens could role 4 solid lines with him there.

The strome deal is definitely fair he is so much better than Nylander

You rather hold on to both until later on into next season or next summer?

I guess that is fair. We will see how the rest of this season plays out if it ever does.. and go from there.

I wouldn't trade Jarry. He was better for the majority of this year that Murr has been since the cup runs...

I think the best situation is to keep both for next year, because both have had their hiccups. They and DeSmith make a pretty deep 1/2/3. If Murray or Jarry for that Matter get a big head and want way too much, that’s really the only possible reason I could see one being traded. If so the pens could look at Khudobin or pens killer Halak.

Sorry, with all respect, I just don’t see how the Strome thing would help the pens at all.
The pens need inexpensive, fast, defensively responsible players. He is none of those things. If he won’t fit the system, he won’t help the pens. Plain and simple. I just don’t see it. 🙅‍♂️🙅‍♂️🙅‍♂️
                  There are many better options.

I forgot about DeSmith! You're definitely right though, Batherson definitely isn't moving, and White just signed a long extension so the chances of him going anywhere are very low. None of the Sens fanbase would be too broken up about parting ways with Tierney though. He is young and good but he's a 3C on a contender, and Ottawa has many prospects who are ready or almost ready to fill that role, even without taking the draft into account.
