Domi and Mantha where drafted the same year and Domi have so far the best resume. They both have a 0.66 ppg average. Domi have played a 100 more game. So next time before talking without any kind of knowledge you would know that this offer is more then good for Mantha. Hillis could be swap for Norlinder but that the most you will get for Mantha who by the way never reached 50 point. Stop pretending he is valued as a elite player becausebthat not what he is.

They have 8 millions that are gone at the end of the years with Perreault and Russell. That money will be very useful for extending players like Gallagher, Danault, Petry, Tatar, Kotkaniemi, Armia and Lehkonen.

I think it’s a pretty good offer for Edmonton. They got cap relief in Russell and the swap of the pick gave them another pick in this year draft. Montreal take a risk with Puljujarvi but with two early sexond round pick i think that they could take the risk. They also have 10 more pick in the later round.

I am not throwing anything away! This team is significantly better then last year team. With Suzuki that will be better and Drouin and Byron mostly healthy all year long this team is better in any department. Russell is a good D for the bottom pair will stabilize the Defensive core and Talbot can’t be worst then Kincaid and Lindgren. Perreault is still a very good hockey players and is a major upgrade on Weal or Cousins. Mantha fill a big need on the right wing. This team is by far superior to this year edition.

we need more than a bottom six forward, bottom pair defenseman, and backup goalie. i know we need mantha if gallagher walks we don't have anyone else like him. so we need to start winning.

I know we need more then that to win a cup but we ain’t fixing the team in one season. Some prospect are coming in and after the Seattle draft this team will start their rise. Signing players to ridiculous contract and acquiring aging players with long term contract isn’t the way to achieve success.
And you probably aren’t aware of that but Montreal was one of the best Possession team last season. The team isn’t as bad a you think they just need to cut down costly turnovers and stay healthy and they are probably in the playoffs
