Krebs has a really high ceiling and Stasny is a great 2c.

2-Roys is 23. He won't get much better than that
3-Statsny has a year left at being a 2C¨
4-yup Krebs has great potential, he's the only significant part of the trade

But if you move Trouba, who do you put on the PK not named Lindgren, Fox and Smith who's miles better than Staal even if that's not saying much? Do you see Miller making the team as soon as 2020 and being able of playing big PK minutes as soon as 2020?

i would have called bullsh*t on the Mikko Lehtonen rumors because he is obviously not a fit in the rangers lineup. but if history has anything to say, once a player follows a team on social media that means they are going to sign with them. pro players don't follow other teams because their fans of them lol. i know nothing about mikko except he is an offensive dman. i can't see him beating out deangelo, fox or trouba on the pp. we'll see.

I think you give Miller an honest shot in camp. His zone entry defense is already NHL ready as is his offense, Most of his issues involve positioning in his own zone, and I'd rather him iron those out in sheltered minutes in the NHL than with inferior opposition in the AHL (it's still a rebuilding year next year). But if you don't think he's ready, I think there are plenty of dmen out there who can be dealt for on cheap short term deals that won't cost much in a trade and are MILES better than our current options. Guys like Jamie Oleksiak or Ian Cole. Or even someone like Brett Kulak. Those guys are all significantly better than Staal or Smith and wouldn't cost more than someone like Hajek who probably doesn't have much of a shot now with Miller and Rykov in the way.

But I think Miller is ready for top 4 minutes by 21-22 at least.
