Unless Armia have a career season he won’t get that much. He never reach 20 goal or 40 point. A deal in the range of Paul Byron is more likely to be enough.

That’s a good way to screw up Romanov throw him on the top pair and kill his development

That’s an easy thing to assume but it could be just as likely that playing him with our best defenceman will also help his development. He doesn’t have to play as many minutes but playing with a solid D like Weber could give the kid some good confidence. He’s not going to start the season on the top pair but if he has a good start it might be worth a shot.

Things look pretty good overall I like the contracts except Armia and Lehk are a bit much. Personally if Tatar is extended then Lehk is probably goine. This lineup doesn’t include Ylonen (who could be ready in 21) or whoever we draft this year so we’re going to need some roster spots.

True. By then, Poehling should be 3C and Evans 4C. One of Juulsen, Fleury or Brook should be pushing one of Weber/Petry out of the top 4. If Drouin and Domi are still around they should be playing top 6 roles. And the team should not ne paying 8M for 4th line wingers.

Agree with most comments up here.

Armia and Lehkonen contracts are rich.
-- Armia ~$3-4m
-- Lehkonen .. $2-3m ---- have $4m on your 4th line could be trouble

Tatar & Gally contracts are close I think...but might need to be a little higher.
KK -- prolly a little higher in a bridge deal unless he has a break out 20-21, then it'll be long term

I may move Max to the wing and have Suzuki in the C as well.....although Suzuki seems to be more flexible than Domi as of now

Also agree that Ylonen and whoever the Habs get in the draft this year (Perfetti, Rossi, Holtz, Raymond, Quinn)....might be ready for 21-22 as well

Tatar - Suzuki - Gally
Drouin - KK - Caufield
Domi - Danault - Armia
Byron - Evans / Peohling - Weal

Chiarot - Weber
Romanov - Petry
Mete - Fleury
Harris - Brook / Juulsen

it's my line up for the season 2021-2022, if there is no major change lol. Romanov is in the KHL since, like, 2 year. And he will have the 2020-2021 season to be ok with the north america ice.

Lehkonen is an RFA and really has no say on where he signs. Nobody is going to pay Armia 4.5 Million. He's no better than a bottom 6 winger at the moment.
