Honnêtement, je le ferais pas. Si on se fie aux analyses Per Hagglund, Norlinder a tout pour devenir un défenseur élite (qui a d'ailleurs prédit le succès d'Olofsson, des Sedins, d'Hedman, etc.). Le choix de première ronde pourrait encore être top 15. Beaucoup trop cher payé à mon avis.

But they still only prospect! Norlinder And Poehling are no guarantee success. LIndholm is one of the best defenseman in the league. Play top minutes, is advance stats are excellent considering that he is use mostly in defensive attribution.

One of the fastest 'no' Bergevin could ever muster, trust me. You don't give 4 1st rounders for a 20+ points left defensemen, when the Habs have a ton of LD in the pipeline. In 2-3 years, it's the right side of the defense that will be severely lacking.

Remove Kesler. Remove Norlinder. Change the 1st to a 2nd. And then maybe there's something to talk about. Maybe Habs add a 5th round.

So Limp-holm, versus Domi, Poehling, a 2nd and a 5th.

Calm down With Kotkaniemi. The package is already extremely valuable. Kotkaniemi hold much more value, even with is difficult year. He is still 19 years old and have ton’s of potential. Lindholm have only 2 years left to is contract and have been a elite defensive defenseman but is lack of offense doesn’t make him that mich valuable. Norlinder is a top 4 defenseman prospect with a very bright futur, Domi is a established top 6 center and Poehling have interesting top 9 upside with a first round pick that a extremely great package. Ottawa haven’t even received that from San jose (i know they get sanjose 3 rd overall but wasn’t supposed to be that pick)

You're right. He's a great defenseman. Habs would love to have him. I just thought it was a bit over priced from the Habs perspective, that's all.

1st of all, thank you. My french is VERY lacklustre. That said, Lindholm defensively is (bold claim) the best D man imo. I think there is no one better than him in his own zone, and I'm a Canes fan who loves Jaccob Slavin and Brett Pesce. In order to acquire such an elite defensive talent, you're going to have to part with a lot of value. Domi is an RFA about to get overpaid big time. Kotkaniemi's value is at an all time low. He was a reach at that 3rd overall pick and he's still a prospect. The 1st is just standard to acquire someone of such talent. If you don't like it, Lindholm isn't an option because even Bob Murray, as dumb as he is, recognises the value of Lindholm (as well as Fowler and Manson)

Kotkaniemi value is still incredibly high even if you think he is not. Go check Leon Draistail stats at the same age then Kotkaniemi and tell me that a 19 years old lid doesn’t hold value. People must stop with that non sense. Lindholm is Ufa in 2 years Murray might loose him for absolutely nothing since the Ducks aint goiing anywhere. The Fact that Karlsson didn’t get such return Make my case even more viable. This return is more then Enough.

Cest quand meme beaucoup, mais Je croois sincerement que le gagnant de n'importe quel trades est lequipe qui decroche le meilleur joueur. Avoir lindolhm et Weber ensemble seraient un des meilleurs duo de la league..

C’est sur que Montréal a finalement son premier Défenseur Gaucher avec Lindholm il peut jouer des grosses minutes contre n’importe qui. Son apport offensif est limité mais avec Weber et Petry on est deja pas mal. Par contre Anaheim recoit quand meme un excellent retour pour continuer leur rebuilt.
