Carolina reject

Vancouver reject

New Jersey reject

Dallas probably take a chance on Thompson

Florida reject, they're trying to shed salary, not take more on.

i think Vancouver accepts that personally, they are thin on RD next year and Montour is young enougj fpr their cpre going forward.

Florida's main reason for rejecting is they are trying to prevent scoring not increase their own.

Even if you sweetened the deal for Carolina doubt Gardiner waves his NTC to go to Buffalo.

Congratulations, your massive overpayments and trades leaves no money to resign dahlin and jokiharju and field a full roster next year

Agree with Florida

I don't think Vancouver need more D men like Montour when they can just re-sign Tanev

I think It’s close, but I think Vancouver does this deal. Tanev wants a raise and a multi-year deal. Given his age and injury history, I don’t think Vancouver resigns him. If Vancouver resigns Taffoli, a trade like this makes sense.

I could see Dallas taking a chance on Thompson in exchange for Honka, 2 1st rd'ers who could use changes of scenery, but I'm not sure I could see us also including the 5th rd pick. Honka's talent level probably exceeds Thompson's so even going straight up would be tough, but given Honka requested a trade I think Dallas would consider. If Buffalo said no, we'd likely rather lose Honka for nothing than to pay 2 assets for one that's not a guarantee to get into the lineup.
