Need a better 3C. If they get a better 3C i could see them being better than they currently are

Well I guess they could try to keep Strome and get him on a 1-2 year deal. Otherwise, I don’t hate Kampf on the 3rd line. Him, Saad and Kubalik were on fire at the beginning of this season before getting split up. Nylander in that spot could work well and balance out the line

I would do that Detroit trade if it was one for one, love Glendening, think he’s the perfect 4th line center.

I'd prefer not to make that TBL trade. I just don't see Serg's ceiling being that high. He did take a big step forward last year, but he doesn't play against the opposite teams best players. Hedman does that. I do like Cernak though. He's a big body defensive Dman that I could see next to Beaudin. He shouldn't cost nearly as much in trade value and cap.

Mmm Id like that too tbh, now that you bring it up. I imagine Tampa tries hard to keep him though, seeing how weak they could end up on the right side

Problem with Cernak is that he's a righty. He would look good with Beaudin, but with Boqvist/Mitchell/Murphy/Seabrook all under contract for next year, there really isn't room for him.

no doubt. you're correct about this. Boqvist/Mitchell don't have the size though. They're both pretty small. Not this year, but in the short term future...they need to find Seabs true replacement. That sounds terrible, but it's true. And no, I'm not putting all my chips on Vlasic, but I do wish him the best.

I think Wi gs like Glendening for his hustle and faceoffs. I highly doubt t Wings make this deal as they are now just riding them selves of bloated defensemen contracts. As the cap limit is surely to stay the same, I beleive we can get something similar for less.

I completely agree, just think it should be a lefty. Owen Power would look amazing in a Hawks uniform!
