Pretty sad when Nick Jensen is on your top pairing, Jensen is a bottom pairing RD at best. Just show's how bad the Leafs D is with Jensen on the top pairing.

Ignore the Salty wings fans. Jensen needs help moving the puck, but defensively he's more than competent. He's exactly the solution Toronto need, and I doubt he'd be more expensive than maybe a 2nd? Only because he has term left.

There aren't many realistic options that could fit under Toronto's cap situation. I'm no Leafs fan but he could form a pretty decent pairing with Rielly or even with Muzzin if he can't handle 1RD.

Funny as much as i've watched Nick Jensen and i'm pretty sure it's a lot more then you've. I've never known Jensen as being defensive competent. He's been more of a liability in the defensive zone then an asset and that's just pure fact.

Analytics suggest otherwise, and numbers don't lie. Numerically, he's above average defensively, but often gets penned in because he cannot get the puck out. Putting him with Muzzin or Rielly should more than work.

Depends on the team, You're probably right on the numbers there in Washing ton. But i'm pretty sure the analytics numbers when he was in Detroit wasn't all that great.

Wow. There's actually a difference between a rebuilding team and a so-called contender

then leave the chirping to relevant teams, if he cheered for a team better than the leafs then its fair game but nope

habs have been stuck in the awkward in betweeen stage of rebuilding and just missing the playoffs for years now, bunch of middle 6 forwards, times they made the playoffs they were carried by carey price

On the wings there is no player that could be considered "defensively competent"
