Hopefully at some point between now and then, the NHL has the sense to start licensing two NHL series. I always preferred NHL2K

Possibly a throwback to some of the originals on 25th anniversary edition, bring back a roenick or a Lemieux possibly, check that it would have to be a 30th anniversary from the original nhl 91.

2k has already tried the nhl series. it wasn't successful so they focused on bioshock and boaderlands instead.

The 2K games were better, and I think EA having competition would make their games better. EA NHL has stagnated for years.
