People are trading a low 2nd for Dermott who's younger than Zadorov and has more upside.

I changed it to a 3rd. Any more and Ottawa just goes to free agency.

Why would Colorado want to take back two LHD's when they're already trading Zadorov due to having too many LHD's (i.e. Girard/Graves/Byram/Cole/Zadorov)? It makes no sense.

Zadorov is most likely going to get traded in a futures-only trade., and a 2nd + 3rd/4th (i.e. high 2nd + 4th, or mid/low 2nd + 3rd) seems to be the consensus by various fanbases as fair value for Zadorov.

In that light it seems logical to deduce that Sakic's plan all along has been to trade Zadorov to get back into the 2nd round of the 2020 draft (since Colorado traded its 2nd for Burakovsky).

Alternatively I could see Zadorov traded for a prospect + pick if there's a prospect that's available that Sakic likes (eg. Konochonok + 3rd, or McKeown + 3rd).

I wouldn’t trade Wolanin for Zadorov. Just keep it as is. Sign Gudas for 2 years or something
