Too much to give up our 1st...unless it's a 1st and 2nd and you give us TBL 1st

And the Jets decline. No point wasting assets for Burns when they can just sign Barrie.

I like the premise of the trade, I think I agree with @Jetman that giving up our 1st is too much. If you swap us the TBL first and we add a 2nd it makes more sense. If that sways you away, I’d be fine adding another prospect.

Maybe, if you want a player who can pass and thats it. If you want a premier offensive D that is better than the one that worked with your team for ages Burns is the right pick. The trade was proposed by jets fans

Honestly, I’d take this over Barrie, like burns’ game more and we need bigger bodies on D.

Yes you are taking a good amount back, I would say maybe the TBL first added and then our 2nd added would be fair.

No matter which team I was, I wouldn't inquire about Burns if SJ wasn't willing to take a bigger contract from my team, because of the insane risk a player signed until he's 40 brings.

Barrie isn't that much worse than Burns. He's not in danger to decline in a year or two, but Burns definitely is. Age is a fickle thing.

Suit yourself. I wouldn't risk it if I were you.

I think Burns would be a great addition.

He’s certainly better than Barrie.

I also think Burns will age fine unlike some other D that are getting up there in age. Hes a freak of nature, in the best way possible

Seriously. The guy goes hard in the gym, and he was never a crazy skater in the first place

Burns has a 3 team trade list. I can't imagine WPG is one of those teams.

DAL is the only team I'm pretty certain he says yes to.
