Yeah I wish it would only take a second but I really think if it was only a second it would have already been done. My last pitch offered Kole Lind and a second and I would still do that so it's tough.

Understand in real dollars he is owed less, but two years at 6 million in a year where cap probably will not increase it will be costly. Marleau and Backes deals took a 1st in both deals for 1 year at 6 million. You are talking about two years at 6 million in cap with a down revenue year.

I get that it’s two years but the sales pitch would be about how Loui is a defensive asset who could help the development of the young players.

That is a stretch and for 6 million dollar cap hit that is a real stretch.

Sabres cap space is a problem. I’d do it if not or for that matter LE/2022 2nd to anywhere.
