DET will probably not want to move him anyway. It's not enough

Good deals for everyone else

Since 2017 among all wingers:

G/GP - 33rd
A/GP - 45th
P/GP - 36th

Per 82 average - 28G/30A

His per game numbers are nearly identical to Ehlers, although Mantha is more reliant on the PP for goals than Ehlers (16% for Ehlers vs 34% for Mantha). Ehlers signed a 7yr/$6 mil deal so I'd imagine Mantha could get something similar. Have to think trade wise it would be similar to what Boston would want for DeBrusk, although Mantha has better offensive production per game.

Those contracts I first thought unrealistically good value but that being said it’s not crazy to think with nhl stoppage and lost revenues flat cap those become realistic.

Wings really like Mantha, and Kase and probably low end 1st round pick not very enticing for Wings. Also he is looking for at least 6 to 7 million so that contract offer is low.

As far as what it would take to get Mantha, it would start with a good prospect already in Bruins system and some sort of a pick. Kase does not have the offensive upside as does Mantha.

easy No from DET, Mantha for a guy whos hit over 30pts once and has only hit 20G once and a 1st which will be a very high one since boston is a powerhouse team.

Mantha has 4 seasons over 30pts and 2 seasons over 20G it's def not enough.

Kase and a late 1st is nowhere near enough for Mantha. Detroit will want a high end top 4 LD for Mantha. And fat chance of him taking a 5 x $5.5m offer he will get more then that from Yzerman probably in the 5 x $6.5m range.

careful, redwings fans think anthony mantha is a mashup of luc robitaille, keith tkachuk, cam neely and brendan shanahan in their primes despite having zero 50 points seasons.

Yeah well considering that Kases best season is 10 points behind Mantha's best season and a late 1st doesn't cut it. Sorry but this is a trash offer for Mantha

Like most on here, I think it’s an easy no from detroit.

Think about why Detroit would want to accept a deal. Think about where they are in their rebuild, and what they would want moving forward. Kase is essentially useless to them. I would think more going with picks and non NHL prospects would be the way to go.

Not likely at all BUT 4 fun sake.. Bos late rd picks so must be two 1sts rd picks (one must be in 2022-shane Wright draft) or young Elite D prospect & that 2022 first at minimum ..we need rebuilding pieces chances at elite talent so that's the cost ..& not likely

i just think Mantha would be a perfect fit for a much needed 2nd line RW.

maybe the bruins will have to give up too much for him.

but i like Kase too and we'll see how things work out when he gets more time with deBrusk and Krejci (or someone else)

Bruins gotta add more for that deal to go through, but it’s not a bad idea honestly, round out the top 6 and give the redwings more future pieces

Thats probably not enough for mantha, but definitely a trade that could benefit both teams (maybe Kuhlman instead of Kase)
