Manson hasn't been good for 2 years and I don't think at his age he's going to be getting better. I would keep Kapanen because I think he adds more to the team than Manson will. He's a secondary piece and is too much for what he brings to the table, I'd rather see Dermot, Lehtonen, Sandin and Liljegren get an opportunity over bringing in Manson. All have way more upside, are cheaper and frankly some are likely already better.

That trade does nothing for the Ducks, they lack RHD. They already have enough wingers.

He's working off of someone else's idea in which the Duck's acquired two other RHD's and traded away Rakell.

Ducks decline. Kapanen doesn’t hold that much value.

I don't value Manson like so many others do.....mostly because he is a RHD and therefore gets a premium since he is traded to the Leafs.
Now I know UFAs can sign anywhere. The Leafs would be far better off signing a UFA like DeMelo for about 4.1m, and then trading Kapanen for futures if cap is needed.

That might be true, but in my construction, prior to this trade I signed DeMelo for 5 years at $4 million and also acquired MacKenzie Weegar from Florida. Needless to say, there's no need for either Anaheim or Toronto to make this trade without those prior conditions.

And don't forget that Lundestrom immediately becomes your best center prospect.
