Looks like your expecting every single chicken you have to be fat and amazing. This team is still way too young and reliant on inexperienced players to be amazing.

As a Senators fan I love this team! I would absolutely sign Lehner and Pietrangelo. They're studs and we have the cap room for it. I don't know if they would actually want to sign in Ottawa though. If Vancouver does that trade I'd be very shocked (and happy). The Duclair and Brown deals appear reasonable. If all these ducks fell in order I'd be very stoked to watch this team. GO SENS GO!

That Boeser trade is a lot to give up tho. Thomson was 19th overall last year and the Isles 1st could be 13-20 this year. Plus White had a bad year but I don’t see him repeating. He’s still a young middle 6 with upside kind of like Dvorak and Dylan Strome

I think Ottawa fans are getting a little crazy with the hype about their prospects. They gelled well and had a really good season but the NHL projection for these guys hasn't really changed. Guys like Batherson, Formenton, Norris, Brown are nothing more than decent top 6 F prospects.
