Dermott is a younger left handed version of Severson, no need to add Kapanen to the trade as well

More RHD obsession. Other teams RHD are so much better than the Leafs Dmen apparently Trading for the now very ordinary 4.1m Manson, why? Severson and Manson make 8.26m. Leafs would 10 times better keeping the their best RHD Holl at 2m, Dermot and 2m. and then they have 4.26m to sign another Dman or keep Kapanen and more

I have a really good feeling about this Joseph Duszak kid who is a right handed defenceman with tremendous offensive skills in the system. Do you think he has a chance to make Leafs in say a couple of years?

No. I don't have much faith in undrafted college players turn pro at 22, play in the ECHL and aren't difference makers in the AHL. We have seen dozens, maybe of hundreds of offensive minded Dmen in the AHL, never get a sniff in the NHL because they can't play the "NHL game." It would defy all odds if Duszak or Hollawell or even Lindgren...all RHDs would play in the NHL. Well maybe emergency call ups. But good luck to this young men in chasing their dream.

You might be right on him but I do think Brazeau is going to prove a lot of people wrong and make the Leafs.
