Honestly, there are people on this board who argue that Matthews is a "generational talent". Saying Guentzel is elite is hardly an extreme position.

Elite is in the 1 percentile....NHL has over 700 players....Guentzel must crack the Top 10 to be consider Elite, you lose.

No...I was jk...u wanted ppl to say he was elite

But in all seriousness, he isn't elite. He is a great player but anyone can become great playing with Crosby. Check out Zucker... almost a ppg player with Crosby and had 29 points in 45 games with MIN
