I hear this all the time. I don't know of one team that has the cap to pay him 10m....certainly not a team would or team that PIetrangelo would sign with. In a flat cap league and now with top RFAs getting a bigger share of the cap, just not enough cap even for premier UFAs. Betcha the Kings and Sharks have regrets signing Doughty and Karlsson to 11m and 11.5m deals. Washington's Carlsson at 8m might be the top now.
