Tor declines. The idea is understandable but it's just not the route I would take or the price from Tor's side.

Nah. A guy who can hit 80+ points, maybe even 100, on a team-friendly deal is something that's not gonna be available for that. The only thing that lands Nylander is a young, already established top-4 dman with term, who's ceiling is top pair. The idea is right, but Severson is just not the caliber of player that they need, at least not for Nylander.

A more realistic package would probably start with Johnsson and a b-prospect and worked around that.
