Description

Rangers major need is a middle 6 center to go along with Chytil behind Mika. If we win the lotto I would argue trade back with kings to grab Byfield and get a solid prospect from them at the same time. Think if we can pair strome or the other first to grab a solid prospect from the kings on top of the pick swap it would be ideal.
Not sure if we should be trading a goalie or looking to upgrade on Defense in UFA but if we do we need to use a buyout on staal or hank to open cap space

Fagemo is a RW, not a LW, but the Kings would go for this. I think it would be a mistake for the Rangers to do it though.

It has him as both but you can just swap him with Kravstov because he has played both sides. I know its silly not to just take Lafreniere but they have Kreider and Panarin at LW so if they can get a top wing prospect and Byfield to fill the void at center it might be too good to pass up. But I agree the smart thing is probably just take AL 1 overall if they win the lotto.

I feel like we're getting away with something here. I think we'd have to add Mike Anderson or Kale Clague. Or drop Strome, which I'd prefer. Or Rangers could add Marc Staal -- even better!

Swap firsts and exchange Samuel Fagemo and Marc Staal.

Not sure if this is an error post on your part but moving up from 2 to 1 for LA will prob cost something like Madden, the LA 2nd and another 2nd.

Lists I am looking at have Fagemo as a top 3 prospect for the Kings...It doesnt get much better than that. The Strome value is all over the place though

I know I am just messing with you, I just googled top prospects for the kings and took the most recent ranking and Fagemo was 3rd I think so I grabbed him since Rangers don't need Def prospects. But who knows how accurate it is, prospect rankings are a crap shoot half the time anyways until you see how they pan out in years
