Flat cap

Description
I have the Wings taking Rossi. I think he’s gonna be a great 2C and very well could be the steal of the draft. Drysdale is a close 2nd but the Wings already have a lot of draft stock in RHD’s. They should be able to land Johnson pretty cheap with it being a flat cap.

Like the Van trade a lot, Not sure it's wise to draft Rossi and trade for Tyler Johnson unless you move Johnson to wing he'd be blocking Rossi for the next 4 years or so.

If anything it just moves Johnson to 3C or like you said even wing if Veleno can develop. But right now I’m not to confident in Veleno/Ras to be a top 3C.

Ras is definitely 3rd line LW at best, I think Veleno can be a highend 3C will be interesting where he slots.

Having too many Centers is never a problem as it’s really easy for one to slide to a wing. I always laugh when Draisaitl gets kicked out of the face off circle cause RNH is right there. If I were to guess too, It’s usually easier to play wing than center, so when Rossi is at the point in his development where he only has the skill of a 3C, he can likely play wing on the second line and get more minutes.

TJ is more of a winger anyways, just push him either to wing or 3C.

Y’all too fast to down a prospect. Ras is still only 21, I think people are going to be pleasantly surprised at how well he plays as 3C next year for Det

I would really like to see a Vancouver fan's take on that trade.

Nice work honestly, but maybe paying too much to Tampa because it helps their cap situation so much. Wonder if TJ could play a stopgap 2C for a couple years.

Ehh a 3rd round pick and Hirose is really not much. I think he can be a solid stop gap like you said until Rossi is ready. He can really help Zadina with his development. I think the price is fair, Johnson is a real solid player.

Yeah I second guessed my comment after I made it lol. Nice work! I would like to see Timashov, Broke, and Rasmussen get ice time though.

Yeah for sure. Even though these are the lineups, I fully expect Timashov and Ras get there minutes at some point of the year.
