Glendening retained for a 3rd. Johnsson for a 2nd. It’s pretty fair. Maybe make the Leafs 3rd a 4th

Mantha, Domi and Reinhart will all cost around 7 mill. That’s the truth

Glendening is not worth a 5th round pick even.. Leafs have 6 guys like that..

He’s a veteran 4th liner at 900k. A 4th round pick wouldn’t mean anything to the Leafs

one of those guys can play center and has a 70 point season and multiple 50 point seasons. another guy has a 65 point season and 2 other 50 point seasons (and 4 20+ goal seasons)

then there is mantha.

I'd say two year bridge at 6. Dude's played well but has been often injured

From a wings point, no to the leafs trade, no to the Vegas trade, I'm fine with Edmonton trade. Love the wallinder draft pick, perfetti is a bust in the making, we better not draft him

His average over 82 games for his last 3 years are 57 pts. I’d say he deserves 6.5-7 mill

Who would u draft at 4? I think it should be one of Rossi or Raymond. With consideration to Sanderson/Perfetti.

Doesn’t 2 years take him straight to UFA? That’d be real smart for a team in the Wings position lol

Idk, some sort of bridge deal since the cap is going to stay flat for two years and he still has questions about health

Maybe it’s doubtful 7 since that would be roughly 8.6% cap hit and considering the following RFAs signed these deals in recent years (some eating up more UFA) should give a good idea of what the initial CH should be. There were quite a few more that signed 3 years ago in that same 6-7% range except Huberdeau at 8.08%. I’d also argue that GMs could lower the initial cap hit % because the 2 year stagnant cap with a 3rd year million increase.

W. Karlsson (7.24), Teravainen (6.79), JT Miller (6.6), Guentzel (7.55)

Other things I notice non-Wing fans do is that they put Veleno in 3C over Rasmussen, that’s a mistake. Veleno should go back to Grand Rapids and Rasmussen should be slotted at 3C. Givani Smith should be on the 4th line and Pearson should be given a look (Chase looked pretty good at the end of the year). The ACGM I’m working on now has Fabbri shifted to 2C with Bert playing with him (had great junior chemistry and if it doesn’t work o well).

Glass was injured the entire season he is not top 6 ready so Vegas wobt be moving Stastny.
Perfetti is a mistake, Wings already have Bertuzzi, Zadina, and potentially Veleno that will be looki g for top 6 LW spots. Not to mention Fabbri and Perlini too.

You severely undervalue how good Mantha is.

you would give 49 million to a 26 year old forward with 84 goals?

Do you realize how bad of a team Detroit is? Mantha was nearly a point per game this year and has a great 2-way game

I like Drysdale or Raymond at 4 personally. Rossi's would be my 3rd choice, I think perfetti is a bust and don't want to risk it with the 4th pick.

I know a lot of people aren't big on Drysdale cause of seider and hronek, but his game is so close to Quinn hughes and I just would hate to pass that up. I want best player available which is either to me Drysdale or Raymond.

that'll be fun to pay him 7 million a year into his mid 30s with little production.

You are wasting your time he hates Mantha and makes it a point to come and trash talk every time Mantha is mentioned. I'm sure we all have a player like that.

Well said, those 2 imo are the best available players at #4, I think Rossi is the best available center though. I think Yzerman may very much consider trading down to 6 though and take whichever of the 3 are still on the table. Wost case scenario he ends up with Rossi (a 2C) and another pick/prospect.

Right after the draft, if you wanted to trade all these prospects that aren’t top 3, Drysdale would be the biggest asset imo. Personally I hope Detroit takes Drysdale so Ottawa takes Raymond
