I don't know what's worse, thinking Ottawa would trade Brady, or having him lower in the lineup than Dominik Kahun.

So you're giving up the 2020 8th OA + your 2021 1st rd pick + your 2016 1st rd pick + Montour for Brady Tkachuk ...... and then playing him on your 3rd line??? Interesting.

I won't address whether or not this is fair value because I'm sure there'll be differing opinions BUT this would not entice OTT into trading Tkachuk. I'm not saying he's untouchable but unless LAK or DET was offering their 1st (2nd or 4th OA) it's likely OTT keeps Tkachuk. He's already loved by the fans and considered one of the new faces of the franchise. PLUS your deal sets the rebuild back by a season.

Brady is close to untouchable, and most fans like it that way. I took a lot of heat for saying that if CGY wins #1OA Dorion should offer Brady lol

MTL doesn’t really have a reason to do that deal

Can't imagine the Sens trading Tkachuk if they did this is probably right value wise.

MTL needs quality, not quantity.
