If im Detroit I would not be mad, Askarov is a huge swing for the fences, but we need that. I would hope we could bag a pick in the 20s too.

It wouldn't be to bad at all, I don't fell though NJ would do that deal that's a pretty steep price.

Say Detroit does swing for Askarov it would free up the cap dump potential of Loui Eriksson for demko

Why would New Jersey trade up and not select Raymond?

Devils would only trade up to 4 if Stutzle is still on the board, and even then it wouldn't cost 7 and 11. 7th and Vancouver pick would be more realistic.
