I'd argue the trade returns are swapped. Gaudreau should be getting the higher return which IMO is the 1st rounder deal.

I question the hockey knowledge base of any Flames fan who would propose that as an acceptable trade for Gaudreau.

Vancouver will want a cheaper RHD then Ristolainen, The whole idea of trading Boeser is to resign Markstrom, Toffoli and Tanev and Ristolainen and Boeser only $400,000 difference between them. That trade makes no sense and neither does the Gaudreau trade.
