MTL is already in a cap nightmare with Price's contract and Webers. I don't see why they'd take these trades at all. It would be pointless for them.

Montreal aren’t in cap hell what are you talking about! They are on of the team with the most cap space to work with in the next 2 season. I fact next season they have almost al their players sign with 18 millions to work with and only a couple of spot to fill on the roster. The only notable rfa they have is Max Domi and i doubt he will make 18 millions next year. But those offer are ****ty as hell if they usebtheir cap space they will use it in a more efficient way

Baertschi is the only player I’d be willing to take on, but it’ll cost you more than that.

What would the cost be do you think for baertschi? Canucks save about 2.3 mill off the cap if they unload him

The last trade is the only one that makes sense it’s a fair trade as well. I would like rousell for our 4 th line. Briesbois would be a nice d depth piece for taking on rousell

A capdump + support player for an AHL contract

Beagle or Roussel + Virtanen for Antoine Waked

Virtanen is what MTL needs: A big RW with some offence skills. It’s worth taking on 2x 3M and maybe do a buyout
