IMO, Dobby will get at least 2 years in his next contract. In Dallas or elsewhere.

This looks like a pretty good roster. All it needs is a new coach that understand offense.

As for Dickie, I really like the kid. He plays 100% all the time but he needs to learn to play with his head high. He is really lucky not to have 1 or 2 concussions yet.

Not really:

Let’s say Faksa = Johnsson.
And let’s say Kerfoot Is the equivalent of a third and a fifth round pick. Unless you find a third or a fifth round pick that can generate 40 points, than Dallas is not overpaying. Of course you can find a gem (hello Jamie Benn) but the probabilities are limited.

Wasn’t sure how it’d work at first since we’re adding two LWs and on paper need RWs, but Guri and JRob have both played and looked decent on the right side. I like the Janni-Pavs-Rads line a lot and Johnsson is pretty much Janni with better scoring touch. Kerfoot might not be top line material, but he can skate with Guri and Segs should do much better with younger line mates. I like Benn and Hintz together a lot. Adding JRob’s offensive creativity to that should be a strong line. I’d like to see Dickie on the wing. Comeau magically becomes decent when he plays with Dickie and I feel like Dell is just a wonderful good at everything makes everybody he plays with better addition to those two. I like the mix of talent on all four lines. They probably look like a random mess but I like talent and youth spread. Dobby prolly gets two but I’m hoping he’ll take a little more money for just one year to give us some cap flexibility
