1- being upset about losing, doesn’t necessarily equal “wanting out”
2- even if he did “want out” the Sabres have him under contract for 5 more years, so they don’t HAVE to trade him until they get a deal they really like
3- if the Sabres do decide to trade him, they’ll get a TON in return. Players like Eichel are rarely traded, and there would be MANY, MANY teams that would be bidding on him.
And if u really wanna get him, you’re gonna have to BEAT all those other offers

But this is what i think it would take:
-start with what u think would be a “fair” trade
-now add another very good piece bc there’s no way the Sabres would move him unless it was an overpayment
-then add (AT LEAST) another very good piece bc you’re gonna have to outbid all the teams trying to get him
So where does that get you?
I’d say it would be minimum or the equivalent value of FIVE 1st round picks... at least
