Signing free agents and trading them right away is very bad for the organization. You will have trouble attracting FA in the future

I think Penguin fans will be glad you are not GM. Anaheim would make that deal but you would not have the pieces because Minnesota laughs at both of those trades. Toronto and Calgary might make those deals
