@tkecanuck341 can break down the flaws in this article better than I can so we'll see if he cares to dedicate his time into explaining it.
@tkecanuck341, Would you mind?

Happy to hear any counter argument
I don't really want to go through all of this again...
Yes, JFresh is a moron and doesn't wield advanced stats very well. It's clear he hasn't watched Doughty play a game in his life and attempts to use spreadsheets to moneypuck every player.
In order to get around people criticizing him for the lack of the eye test, he references the Jack Han "scouting report" on Drew Doughty that references the 3/11/2020 game against Ottawa. However, if you actually watch the game and compare it with the descriptions in the scouting report, you can see that the descriptions of his play are wildly inaccurate, and don't actually recount what happens in the game.
Here is the link to the "companion piece" that he uses in his article:
Is Drew Doughty Still Good? A scouting perspective
Along with an example of one of his "observations":

2:54 Doughty watches from the bench as LA scores to lead 3-2.
The only problem is that doesn't mesh with what actually happens in the game. Here's the video of LA's third goal, which Doughty supposedly "watches from the bench."
Frk sneaks shot past Anderson
Doughty makes an excellent play to break up the odd-man rush, then leads the breakout that directly leads to the Kings goal. There are other observations in the article that doesn't line up with the video either.
I'm not going to go over all the reasons why Doughty is still good again. You can look up the comments from my profile if you want. I've made the argument numerous times in the past couple weeks. However, the JFresh and Jack Han articles should both be deleted and replaced with apology letters, as they really are both quite terrible.
