Yes those 4 games are more representative than the last 10 years and 3 cups.

Domi's playing on the 4th line in Montreal lol

They'd probably want Kotkaniemi as a starter.

Both teams decline. Pitts will ride malkin Crosby and Letang into the sunset and Habs don’t really want him

exactly LMFAO. People are quick to forget Malkin's 110 point pace season. Even at 34 he'd still be the best forward the Habs have had since the flower

The last few months clearly better represent Malkin than 10 years ago. Age exists. Malkin is aging, and the last thing Montreal needs is a nearly $10 million 34 year old centre. Not to mention the fact that the Penguins would ask for an overpayment because of his history in Pittsburgh, and that Jim Rutherford has his head stuck in 2018.

You dont give up those assets for a small window of Malkin if you're the habs. Plain and simple.

look at the past season. Pens didn't show up. the whole team didnt. he is still an elite forward and would give you guys your best chance to win Carey price and weber a cup.

the habs rnt in win-now mode, the pens r, which is why they shouldt trade malkin 2 begin with

you act like those assets are so valuable... Fleury is a bottom pairing D at best. domi is a top 6 winger sure, and the first round pick is nice but its surely not enough. you're still getting several years of an elite malkin.

the pens would never even consider that trade. so its a mute point. but the people saying Malkin isnt worth that is ridiculous. the dude was on pace for 110 points this year.

Even if Malkin has one more year of being effective left in him, I wouldn’t do it. We’re still a year or two away from being able to win anything. I’m not giving up valuable pieces that could help us win something meaningful just so that we can make the playoffs in the short-term.

And I do agree, there’s no chance the Penguins trade Malkin. Both teams reject this trade.

75 points in 59 games but "he's aging" lmao. You have no idea what you're talking about.
