Flames easily reject this for two reasons 1.mangiapane is amazing and worth more than Murray and 2 flames don’t need a goalie they have talbot who has been really good. Also if they did need a goalie they would look into free agency.

gotta cut more cap than that. Pens owners wanna be in the "mid 70's" cap wise after the pandemic.

Also, gotta give up more than that to move Bjugstad or Johnson. Remember it cost the Leafs a 1st round pick to move Marleau just to get a 6th rounder back. Teams aren't gonna just bail you out cause you ask nicely.

The D upgrades are very good but Toffoli will get over 4 million from someone who has more cap space

I think Talbot is just riding a hot streak he is not very good.

not that Murray is some superstar goalie but he is better than Talbot is. again it is just an idea, im not saying this will happen...
