A 7 for 1 trade is code for, “i don’t want to give up anything that hurts.”

It isn’t awful, Buch is a 50 point player and Chytil does have the potential to be a top 6 player. Robertson isn’t a bad D prospect but if it was Miller or Nils instead of Robertson does this work? Also don’t think Fla needs Georgiev as they just drafted Spencer Knight and paid Bob

I really don't think it does tbh. I feel like Barkov for Chytil, Strome, Lundvist, Kravstov, Georgiev and 2 firsts is fair. Kakoo is just way too much for a player who only has 3 years of control

Lol. Here take a bunch of our junk and a prospect that might stay in europe for an elite player!

The only way anyone gets Barkov is if the Panthers give the team a list of demands and its met without hesitation. Other than that the Cats won’t nor need to trade him.

Yeah the Cats would want Georgiev when they have Bob for the next 7 years and Knight in the pipeline. Dude you can’t just give up a bunch of role players and some guys with top 4 potential and expect to get a superstar in a trade. This isn’t NHL 20

Wow, Chytil, Kravstov, Lunqvist and 2 firsts are role players? That's interesting

My apologies- only one is a role player (Chytil), two are unproven prospects, and two are draft picks.

Ah makes sense. We don't necessarily need anymore picks but maybe a prospect like Alexandrov or Kostin could work but I don't envision you guys moving either of them.

Swapping out Nils Lundkvist for Robertson could work, it would just really hurt as a Rangers fan to see him go lol. But I know we'd have to give to get, it just can't be Miller (Rangers are incredibly weak on the left side).

As for Georgiev, I agree. But I saw elsewhere on this site people suggesting Georgiev would be a good pickup for Florida so I included him. I suppose putting Nils in the trade allows for Georgiev to come out.

Definitely wouldn't be reasonable to expect Kakko/Laf, but I agree Lundkvist in return is only fair.

Only on ACGM would you not have to give up one of a teams two best young players for a 25 year old, 90 point center making less than 6 mil a season. I’m sure the Panthers would love to take on the plethora of prospects with middle 6 upside and a couple of firsts instead.
