I wouldn't mind picking up Bellemare, but I wouldn't give up anything more than a 4th for him.

Having a $7M backup who's been on the decline since 2015-2016 isn't the way to win. I guarantee the Avs have no interest in this one.

Quick is not getting worse. He just played his best stretch of hockey in several years over the past month before the season was suspended. His poor numbers have more to do with the team in front of him than his own play. The Kings are reportedly even interested in giving up an asset to ensure that Seattle doesn't take Quick in the expansion draft. You don't do that if you're ready to move on from him.

Avs don’t need Lundqvist or his contract. By trading Francouz and acquiring Lundqvist you make it so the Avs have to chase a veteran goalie to be compliant for the expansion draft. Girard is light years better than Yandle, then you turn around and sign Barrie. How did Barrie do not getting prime PP time in TOR, you don’t think they are going to put Makar on the 2nd unit do you? You traded Cole then still blocked Byram by acquiring Barrie and Yandle. Would you really give a $9M (even for 1 yr) contract to Hall after seeing what he has done in the playoffs?

Literally the Avs would be significantly better by just signing their own guys and going chalk.

Girard is a top pairing dman on a steal of a contract extension at 5m for the next 7 years, Vrana doesn’t even get the convo started, he’s a core member for the avs for the next decade. Not over exaggerating at how good of a dman he is.

Graves is solid but a 2nd line winger of similar age and rfa control is what avs would ask for to part with him.

I think He will be as well, he had solid season in the ahl and finally healthy, their d is pretty set going forward even if I someone gets poached in expansion, they could lose graves and it’s not big deal
