Ellis is going to be declining in the near future and has had injury issues his entire career. That is not a wise move for TO.

Ellis is an absolute animal but no way the leafs touch his contract. Unreal right now but it's gonna suck later on down the road

How about Arvidsson + Fabbro and a pick for Nylander. Makes more sense

how does that help Nashville? Arvidsson is a top 6 forward and the gap between him and Nylander is def not Fabbro, maybe not even Tolvanen

Nylander is younger, has more potential, can reach the 40 goal mark as he and Foresberg played very well together during the WC. Nashville fans also seemed more willing to move Fabbro over Ellis as they can grab someone off FA who can play well enough with Ekholm

The main thing of the trade would be to unite Foresberg with Nylander as those 2 i feel with whoever is the center would have amazing chemistry.

As a Preds fan I dont think trading Ellis is a good idea
