This literally doesn’t make sense but okay dude. Also Matthews is better than Laf will likely ever be. Might as well go all in here and deal Andersen somewhere for a top RW prospect.

If only there wasn’t a cap and we could afford it. I guess we could just trade Strome and DeAngelo for picks and buyout Hank, Staal and Smith to do it.

NYR do it and do what they need to make the cap work but trading Trouba for pennies on the dollar might work. 🤷‍♂️

Kings decline. They can manage their salary cap a lot better without Marner's contract on their books.

Ducks do NOT want a 11 mil dollar Tavares. If it was Marner rather than JT they’d accept. Tavares does not help our rebuild what so ever

Managing cap and money can be done with good players.

And knowing what the value of the player is too. Marner's contract doesn't fit where the Kings want to go.

He’s about 1m maybe 1.5m overpaid. So where do the kings want to go? Just steer clear of star players or....

For the next season yes. They want to be ready to break out in the 22-23 season when the Seattle draft is done. They don't need to have too much salary tied up in a few players ( like Toronto) that handcuffs the team
