Not even close. There's no incentice to move him unless it's a big overpay, this package isn't worth his actual value. Giroux to Buffalo would start with Cozens

Lol I agree he would be a perfect stopgap for Cozens and brings veteran leadership to the team. Obviously this return probably isn't enough and it would only work if the flyers decide they don't need him as much or sign someone like Hall

question to you and all Buffalo fans.. when you add Mittelstadt to a trade do you think he has any type of positive value? to me hes worth a 3rd round pick... its almost worse that he played some games in the NHL already bc he underachieved and that killed (imo) his value... kind of like dropping a steak on the ground and expecting people to eat it.

its rare for a player to start and finish a career in a place if the flyer can win a cup it will be the final step in an amazing career for him

I agree....The way Mittlestadt has played in the pros thus far hasn’t been good. I think he’s thrown into so many deals on this site more due to Sabre’s fans being done with him more so than people thinking he has great value. I think fans are hoping for another Jeff Skinner for Cliff Pu Kinda deal...

that was a great deal but now you have skinner at 9 million...... cant have anything nice can they.... i think its imporant for the Sabre to change the perception of the franchise to be able to get player to sign there.... rightn ow its not pretty you have the face of the franchise/ best player they've had in decades frustrated with the team and they made somesoild moves to improve and still missed a 24 team playoffs. they need to go risk/reward but have itpay off for them.. if i was them i would move 8oa for Monahan Kuzy or best available player... maybe Schmaltz for a lesser cost. they really need to start looking like winners so other players look at them as a solid landing spot.
