Description

A few notes based on offseason priorities:
1) Just no room for Muzz anymore. He goes somewhere for a pick...ideally a 2nd rounder.
2) JJ set to literally anchor the 3rd pairing. JR finds a UFA or trade partner to get a younger RH Dman to partner him with in hopes of replicating some of the not as terrible results he had with Marino.
3) Bjugstad probably not ready to go at start of season and lands on LTIR. Erod is a sensible short term replacement for the Pens. UFAs replacements don't make sense unless the Pens can trade Bjugstad.

Pens ride with this or some version of this lineup until Late Jan (assume 12/1 season start). Hopes that new asst coaches can turn better performances from the players. If results stink then we may see a big changes (i.e. HC replacement, core piece or several staples moved, etc.).

To me this all makes much more sense than crazy trades. Especially given the financial uncertainty being brought on by the rona.

He'll likely be around the $2.5M-3M range on a 3-4 year deal. That's my best guess anyway.

Guerin is already on record stating he wants to resign Soucy and keep him on the team.

Given that other teams may come sniffing around for him, I wouldn't be surprised if he got $3x4 to keep him here.
