SJ wouldn't do that trade anyway cause Thornton and Marleau are their last year of contract. They're gonna need Pavelski and Couture to center the top 2 lines eventually. They can get a sick winger when they eventually have the extra 15 mill in capspace next year. Top centers are harder to find than top wingers.

I like Saad & Jenner too much to trade either of them. I know they prefer Jenner on the wing, but he may thrive in the Center role. He could actually be a top center with some development. The jackets are only a #1 center and a #1 goaltender from winning the CUP.

Oh and this trade is just ridiculous. No way SJ is trading Couture.
