Description
I know this would probably be best suited as a forum post, but people so rarely check there and I'm going to make some of the basic moves common in Hawks ACGMs to justify this post's existence as such. Anyways, to the point.

I've never really been one to follow media headlines, and in fact, I think I have developed a rebellious spirit towards many storylines that the media tries to push (Such as the Nylander Hate, Maatta's buyout, superstitions relating to if someone is wearing their glasses or not etc.)
However, I am wondering what YOU ALL think about the most recent storyline about Seabrook being able to regain some form and be an impact player coming off almost a year of rest and two major surgeries. Personally, I think its a bunch of Bull, and I doubt that he will be able to be much more than he was prior to his injuries when I factor in his age and game style. What do you guys think.

Seabs probably looks good for 10ish games then is back to his old self. Not on LTIR though unfortunately

I don't think it's likely either, I just hope they figure out how to get the right guys out there and make sure certain players are in the lineup (Mitchell, Suter, etc). I think Seabrook's contract is a problem. If he magically turns into a top pair D man again I mean I'm all for it. But it sucks how a lot is riding on what they do with him and that contract.

I'm not trying to be pessimistic, but I only see him being slower. When an athlete has more than a year off, chances are they've permanently lost a step (especially with the specific surgeries he's had). Best case scenario is that his healed injuries cancel out the lack of playing time and you end up with the same Seabrook.
