The oilers arent trading Hopkins, Crirelli would cost alot that the rags dont have, and Domi + Danualt trade would never happen, try again

Vegas might be looking to move Stastny if Glass is ready to step into that top 6 role. Arizona has no picks so Stepan or Dvorak may come available. Dunno if you expect Chytil to be your long term 2C, but Tierney from Ottawa is an ideal 3C who is capable if playing 2C if needed, available for a 2nd+3rd. Monahan should be available for the right package, but that will cost a significant amount as he’s a 1C who would be a dominant 2C. Getzlaf might be available from Anaheim, I know there were rumours about him moving at the deadline. If you don’t like Ryan Strome, try Dylan instead lol? Nashville might be willing to shake up their forward corps, that would probably involve moving Kreider though to balance money. Bozak is probably more suited to a 3C role at thisnpoint but he’ll probably be available. The best UFA centre is like, Haula lol, he might be an okay 2C but he’s more of a 3C guy on a good team.

MTL certainly a good option (Domi, Danault) with their two young guys stepping up.

Calgary also appears willing to move a center (Monahan, Bennett)

LA Kings could be worth checking with with Vilardi, Turcotte (and maybe Byfield) in pipeline

MIN if you see Ryan Donato at center. Maybe Strome in Chicago.

Others to consider: FLA, WAS, NJD, DAL

Given that we need a 2C specifically, I think Cirelli is the perfect option. A lot of people say he will cost us pieces we don't have - I don't think that's true. We have picks and prospects, and as much as I'd hate to lose him, we're armed with one Nils Lundkvist. He'd be a huge catch in a trade for a top 6 C.

Id love to try and take a stab at Roope Hintz. Maybe Ryan Johansen in exchange for big money going back? Domi I think could be had and would probably be exactly the kind of player David Quinn would love, whether that is for better or worse.
Id rather see one more year of Mika--Strome--Chytil being the top 9 centers, if it means the left side D is reimagined with the money/assets we have. I think when our offense was rolling our D was the bigger issue.

The Rangers a literally one of the more loaded with Assets teams out there, they absolutely can make a package to get Cirelli. And I am not talking about 1OA either. The question is, do they want to pay the price for him.

the defence core is also very young so it will take time to click

The rangers have a stupid amount of assets and picks to get any one of the guys that are mentioned, I'm not sure you make a deal for anyone honestly, I think you stay put and give strome a bridge deal or let him go to arbitration, chytil is still young and has more to unlock, give it 1 more year then go big

Im really worried the Rangers go longer term with Strome. If they give him 1 year like Hayes i ll be excited, even if they some how are good next year and are in a playoff spot and dont flip him at the deadline, it will be an "own rental" situation. But if he signs the 1 yr deal he is gone, which i am all for.
