Description

Feel the Carolina trade could happen if something is needed to push it over the edge then retained Salary on JJ can happen. Also gives Carolina a player to force on Seattle next year.

Winnipeg values size and Bjugstad has that in spades. Also adds them a Center in return and gives them a wing to pair with it as well as light draft capital. With Bjugstad on a 1 year deal also allows them to shop him at the deadline.

My guess is that Pens will keep Murray and trade Jarry instead since his market value is so much higher.

some are saying they plan to move him for a 1st which is why they gave toronto the top 15 pick cause there just gonna get one for murray anyways

Rights to Murray and a 3rd is near enough to take on Johnson while giving up to Reimer and Fleury too.

yup. if GMJR doesn't recoup a first after gifting one to Toronto, he has completely lost all my trust (along with other pens fans). I have given him a pretty big leash due to his success in 2016 and 2017 and he assembled probably the best team in the salary cap era. But as of recent, he has been questionable at best.
