Gostisbehere hasn't been great but it's not at the point where a second round pick needs to be added to get a fourth round pick. He wasn't healthy this season and since he got the two surgeries to fix his knee he's looked better. I don't think that trade gets it done

Yes, its more likely a 2nd for Ghost. Or Ghost straight up for Montour (similar age, Ghost is signed/Montour isn't, Montour might be slightly cheaper, but Ghost has shown way more production and upside)
